Hospitality Career Expo 2023

The first in-person Hospitality Career Expo since the start of the pandemic was a success! Coordinated by the Cal Poly Pomona Career Center in collaboration with The Collins College, the job fair was attended by 237 students who got the opportunity to get in front of 46 of some of the hospitality industry's top companies.

Recruiters met with students and alumni to fill internship and full-time positions that align with students' career goals, and more than two dozen interviews were conducted. For students in their early career decision making, the career expo allowed them to network and learn more about options that align with their interests.

The success of this year's Hospitality Career Expo is a testament to the benefits of collaboration across campus and how those efforts foster student success.

"It starts from the top down with the Dean/Associate Dean and is reflected in the large number of faculty who attend and are engaged with their students," says Tracee Passeggi, Director of the Career Center. "It truly makes this event special and sets it apart from the other fairs."
