College Videos Earn Accolades

The Council for the Advancement and Support of Education District VII recognized two Collins College videos in its 2013 Awards of Excellence. The CASE awards are peer-judged.
Both short films were produced by Lisa McPheron, director of communications and external relations for the college and directed by independent filmmaker Brian Y. Marsh.
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) supports alumni relations, communications, development, and marketing professionals at educational institutions worldwide. The association provides networking, recognition, and continuing education for more than 64,000 advancement professionals at more than 3,400 colleges, universities, and independent elementary and secondary schools in more than 70 countries. CASE District VII represents professionals and institutions in the western region of the United States (Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada, Northern Mariana Islands, and Utah).
Hospitality Uncorked 2013 earned a silver in the news and research category.
Why Do I Love The Collins College? earned a bronze in the fundraising category.
In additional to the 2013 CASE Awards, The Collins College of Hospitality Management received awards in 2012 and 2011 for a previous video and Collins magazine.
