During this hour you will hear about the research and life experience of three undergraduate students who conducted research for a whole quarter in a partner research institution abroad. Megan Nakamura (English and foreign languages/Psychology, Cal Poly Pomona) together with Mildred Rangel (Psychology, UCR) joined the lab of Dr. Dorothee Chwilla in Nijmegen (The Netherlands), and the worked on a research project looking at the effects of short-intensive language learning. Cloe Zeidan, worked in Granada (Spain) in the lab of Dr. Teresa Bajo, and collected data for a project looking at how late bilinguals process complex events.
