EFL Student Presents Research at SCCUR Conference

On November 12, 2016, Spanish BA student Montserrat González presented her research at the Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR) at the University of California, Riverside. Her study was titled “Sociolinguistic Attitudes of Anglosaxon and first generation Latinos toward Latinos who speak English with a Spanish Accent.” González’s poster sparked great interest among attendants, who kept her busy with discussion and questions regarding her study during the poster session.
