Pomona Valley Review Num. 18 is Out

October 17, 2024

PVR 18, CPP's online, annual literary journal is officially live! You can check it out on our website here. As Editor in-chief, Rachel Jurasevich and Managing Editor, Mariana Trujillo Marquez note: "In PVR 18, we begin with Seth Kronick’s poem “BLVD.” In Kronick’s work, the deliberate cataloging of the everyday sets the pace for how we hope our readers enter their journey through the issue—open to the impressions left by each subsequent piece of artwork, poem, piece of fiction or creative non-fiction. When readers reach the end of PVR 18, they are met with Jordan Montejano’s “The Rain Fell.” In it, the simultaneous
tension and complimentary nature of the natural world in rhythm with disaster leaves us at a hopeful, yet haunting ask to reflective on the everyday that began in Kronick’s “BLVD.”"

PVR publishes short fiction, poetry, and art on a selective basis by new and established authors. This year PVR will be recruiting new editors. Keep tuned to hear more.
