Spring 2024 Liberal Studies Student Showcase

The Liberal Studies program held their Spring 2024 Liberal Studies Student Showcase. This immersive event was an opportunity for students to connect, network, and be in community with campus and community partners.

The theme for this year's showcase was, Beyond Boarders: Exploring Transdisciplinary Movement and Flows. Students who attended the event were given a Showcase Passport. Students were encouraged to visit at least 4 resource tables. Completed passports were entered into a raffle, where students could win LS Swag bags with other fun items.

Throughout the campus and community partners that provided resources, networking, and opportunies.

Resources in attendance were:

  • Interdisciplinary General Education (IGE)
  • LS Minor - LS 3042S Activity
  • Good Pantry
  • Innovation Incubator
  • Opportunities for Learning
  • T.R.E.E.
  • Study Abroad Program.
  • LS Club
  • LS Virtual Showcase

There were presentations from Innocation Incubator, T.R.E.E., with remarks from Interim Associate Dean Dr. Neil Chaturvedi and LS Chair, Dr. Christina Chavez-Reyes. The main showcase was LS students who were selected to present their submission.
