2023-2024 Teacher Credential Celebration

On May 21, the CEIS Education Department held its annual Teacher Credential Celebration ceremony. Over 200 students received their teaching credential in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024. One hundred forty of these students participated in the ceremony and were joined by their loved ones, friends, university supervisors, PIE board members, and CEIS faculty and staff. The ceremony includes remarks by: Dean Jenelle S. Pitt-Parker, Associate Dean Neil Chaturvedi, Education Chair, Dr. Jann Pataray-Ching, and Keynote Speaker Angela Newman, AP History Teacher, Newport Harbor High School.
