Mentor Teachers on Dual Language Learner Competencies

Several faculty in ECS (Denise Kennedy, Giselle Navarro-Cruz, Nancy Hurlbut, and Soon Young Jang) as well as Sarah Burnett from Norco College and Nancy Sanchez and Rebecca Jimenez-Barlow from Baldwin Park Unified School district offered 2 trainings to 38 mentor teachers this semester on Dual Language Learner Competencies we created as part of the UP-LIFT CA grant that I received. This training focused on helping teachers implement a variety of learning opportunities for the children in their classrooms from Preschool through 3^rd grade.
