Liberal Studies Professor Speaks During Nasher Prize Dialogues

Liberal Studies Assistant Professor Maya Stovall recently participated in the Nasher Prize Dialogues, a program that congregates leading multidisciplinary artists for a panel discussion on topics in sculpture. The event, which was held at the Dallas Museum of Art, explored the relationship between performance art and related ephemera and how that impacts the field and its inclusion in museums and collections. In addition to Stovall, the panel discussion, moderated by curator Adrienne Edwards, also included participation from renowned artists Joan Jonas and Naama Tsabar.
