Research Projects
Be a part of the growing number of students who participate in research!
The motivation for this project is to prove to business faculty that there is value in having their undergraduate students participate (i.e. survey takers) in business research studies. In addition, we want to show that participating in research is helpful in learning marketing concepts.
This project investigates consumers' attitudes and purchase intentions of the products made in their own (vs. other) states and assess factors that could influence them; this allows us to understand the consumer at a state level.
This project investigates consumers’ preferences for timing of sharing about consumer experiences such as visiting theme parks, sports events, or vacationing that might be influenced by the individualism-collectivism (INDCOL) dimension of the culture and the ensuing regulatory foci -- promotion-orientation versus prevention-orientation.
This project investigates how INDCOL (Individualism vs. Collectivism) influence consumers' usage of the seven functions of social media platforms (identity, conversation, sharing, presence, reputation, conversations, group).
