Patrick is a CIS Major with an emphasis in Business intelligence with a minor in Marketing Management. Transferring to Cal Poly Pomona in the Fall of 2019 after three years in the financial and legal industries, Patrick joined the Singelyn Center for Innovative Analytics for its semester-long PCV Murcor consultancy project. In Spring 2020, Patrick joined the Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing as a research assistant for the Regulatory Focus team. In the spring, Patrick was the Customer experience analyst for the center. He served as the leader for one of the Analytics and Marketing Insights teams for the GfK NextGen Data science Hackathon competition 2020, where the team placed as national finalists. Currently, Patrick Serves as the Corporate External Relationship Specialist, president of the Analytics and Marketing Insights Club, and a team member on the Customer Insights Consultancy project, and a research assistant for the Regulatory Focus team. He hopes to become a business analyst or consultant after his graduation.

- Awarded research grant ($8,000) for the project proposal, “Impact of Regulatory Foci and Culture on Consumers’ Use of Social media sharing function,” From LTD Program, Cal Poly Pomona, May 26, 2020 (with Andrea Escobar Vara, Jacob N. Linao, and Samuel Y. Lee).
- Finalist at 2020 GfK NextGen Data Science Hackathon, held March 20 – March 30, 2020, for the team’s proposed smart car tech product named, Cabin UV, (with Andrea Escobar Vara, Sebastian Hernandez, Grant R. Chic, Sarah K. Borsaly, Jacob N. Linao, Daniel Chow, and Samuel Y. Lee).
