Temple Grandin to Speak at Cal Poly Pomona

Prominent author Temple Grandin will speak on “Insights in Animal Behavior and Autism” at a special event, Tuesday, Feb. 11, on the Cal Poly Pomona campus.

Grandin is a distinguished professor of animal sciences at Colorado State University and a noted author and speaker on both autism and animal behavior. She has earned multiple honors, including induction into the National Women’s Hall of Fame and as one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World.”

She previously had spoken to animal science students during a 2014 visit to AGRIscapes. 

A New York Times bestselling author, Grandin has appeared on national television shows, including “20/20” and “60 Minutes.”

This free event, which is sponsored by the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center, will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Bronco Student Center Ursa Major.
