Farm to Provide Produce for Ice Cream

Get ready for ice cream made with ingredients fresh from the Cal Poly Pomona Farm!
Coney Island Creamery in San Dimas is partnering with Cal Poly Pomona to make special ice creams with produce from the university’s Spadra Farm, including avocado and Satsuma orange flavors.
Students enjoyed free samples of the ice cream that Coney Island Creamery gave out on Thursday, Feb. 16, on the University Quad.
The ice cream will soon be sold at the Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store and other outlets on campus.
The ice cream flavors will change with the seasonal availability of produce.
