Prospective Students Visit College Open House
April 12, 2022
About 400 prospective students came to campus on April 9 for the Huntley College of Agriculture’s Open House.
Prospective students visited the college facilities in Buildings 2, 7, and 45 and met with faculty and current students to learn more about the different majors.
Each department had information sessions and demonstrations throughout the morning.
In addition, the university offered tours of the campus and student housing. Resource fairs were held for student clubs and organizations, and resource centers. Information sessions also were available for incoming first-time freshmen and transfer students.
The W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center also held an open house with tours and demonstrations of the high-speed equine treadmill. About 60 people visited the center for the tours.
